Tsavo East National Park relative closeness to the beaches and tourist attractions around Malindi and Mombasa makes it an ideal one-day wildlife safari destination for those who want to stay overnight. Tsavo East National Park is a natural area of flat, dry plains, with thorny bushes and swampy marshland near the river. It is teeming with diverse Kenyan animals including large families of giraffes, gazelles, hartebeests, and zebras, as well as the “Big Five” must-see animals – buffalo, African elephants, lions, giraffes, and leopards.

You will be picked up from your respective hotel/airport within Nairobi/ Mombasa by your guide from as early as 7.30 am and proceed to Tsavo East National park which takes an approximate of 3 to 4hrs drive from Mombasa and 5 to 6 hrs from Nairobi. On arrival at Tsavo East National park, you will enjoy game drives of the wide-open grass plains and, scattered acacia bush that is a host to a wide variety of the BIG FIVE such as lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, and giraffes with the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography till the African sunset.
Thereafter, proceed back to the lodge/camp and have dinner as relax for next day new activities.
After breakfast, you will depart for a full day of exploration and game drives at Tsavo East National Park with packed lunch. Enjoy full day game drives till the African sunset.
After breakfast proceed to enjoy a sunrise game drive thereafter, drive back to Nairobi which takes an approximate 5hrs drive or Mombasa which takes an approximate of 3 to 4 hrs drve and be dropped at the respective hotel or airport to catch the scheduled flight.
