Olpejeta conservancy is situated between the foothills of Mount Kenya towards the North of Kenya. Aside from the big 5, more than a thousand different mammals and bird species roam the wild. Aberdare National Park is dominated by a large number of elephants as well as black rhinos, Aberdare National Park lures those who want more than just a safari. With dense forests, 300m-high waterfalls and amazing hikes, this park is as much about the flora as it is the fauna.

Pick up from the hotel/airport as early as 7.30 am to proceed to Olpejeta conservancy that is approximate of 4hrs drive. On arrival proceed to lodge to check-in and have lunch thereafter enjoy afternoon time enjoying game drives of the wide-open grass plains and, scattered acacia bush that are a host to a wide variety of wildlife of the BIG FIVE such as white and black rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and elephants with the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography till the afternoon. Thereafter proceed to lodge for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast at 6.30 is you will be picked up by your guide and proceed for a game drive with the rooftop of the car open for great views and photography. Enjoy morning game drive In the Olpejeta with a view of the famous Chimpanzee sanctuary where these species are rehabilitated. A guide will take you through a session on the chimpanzee breed and theory. Thereafter will head for the rhino sanctuary where the black rhino is rehabilitated too and the white rhino and enjoy feeding of the animals. (White rhino sanctuary is not included since need an early reservation and extra fees). Thereafter exit at 10.30 am and start the drive back to Aberdare National park you will be checked in for lunch. Thereafter enjoy afternoon game views from the hotel balconies overlooking floodlit watering holes of the elephants and salt licks with background of the Aberdare Mountain ranges. Thereafter proceed for dinner..
Have breakfast as early as from 7.30 am at the lodge. Thereafter check out of the lodge and our guide will collect you from the hotel. Drive back to Nairobi takes approximately 3 to 4 hrs and be dropped back at the respectful hotel or airport to catch the next flight.
